The best handhelds for Sales Force Automation would be ones running on Windows Mobile. There are a lot of local developers already developing mobile business applications on the platform and a lot of local companies are using it already. The best brand would be HTC because they are readily available from your telco’s corporate plans (Globe & Smart). Why is it important to get from your telco? because you just pay for the plan and handsets are free. Just remember to bluff about your data usage to your account manager so you can negotiate for cheap plans. HTC is a good brand and they also manufacture the Treo 750 for Palm among others (like the XDAs, iPAQs, Dopod, AT&T, and the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPeria).

I belive the upcoming Treo 800 would have WiFi built-in
