Doing grocery with my Treo 650

First posted on PalmAddicts yesterday:

My Palm Treo 650 helped me complete my grocery list yesterday. Instead of writing the items I needed to buy on a piece of paper that could easily get lost, I used my Treo. It has no special software for the grocery list — I have yet to download one — so I just used the Tasks application. After getting each item, I only had to tick the checkbox beside it to make it disappear. This made me sure I did not forget anything, especially the candies for my girlfriend’s niece and nephews.

  1. I was just thinking about purchasing one of these, either this or the Blackberry. Which one do you suggest I get??

  2. Thanks for the comment, Jarred. I’ve been dropping by at your site from time to time, and I’m amazed at all the gadgets you feature.

I’ve never tried Blackberry so I can’t really give an objective comparison. But based on my experience with Treo 650, I can say it’s (ederic@cyberspace)

  3. Used to do exactly the same with my old Palm m515 back in the Philippines. :D
