I woke up this morning to the news that HP, one of the world’s oldest and largest IT company, would buy my favorite smart phone maker.

Admob now measuring Philippine mobile web traffic
Admob, a mobile advertising company, has included the Philippines in its July 2008 Mobile Metrics report. It cited “continuing strong growth in mobile web usage” here.
With the recent launch of iPhone 3G in the Philippines, mobile web usage in the world’s texting capital could be expected to grow even more.
